Miryousef Younesi, Father of Political Prisoner Ali Younesi, Transferred from Evin Prison to an Unknown Location

According to Reza Younesi, brother of political prisoner Ali Younesi, their father, Miryousef Younesi, was transferred today from Evin Prison to an unknown location.

Prison officials reportedly summoned him to the administrative office this morning, but he never returned to his ward. Fellow inmates were later told that he had been transferred.

He was not given the chance to collect his personal belongings, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.

Miryousef Younesi, 73, has been imprisoned for over three years and four months.
